Why the name "Tulips"...Tulips have been loved by people for centuries and I am no exception. I am constantly amazed by the variations.
My favourite way is to put them in a simple glass vase and let them "create themselves". Every day they are different and this
is what fuels my passion to create flower displays for every ocassion.
My parents' floral business is where it all began. As a 5 year old I used to play with the flowers whilst my mam put together her beautiful
arrangements. Years of training later which includes studies at Garden school with focus on floristry, attending competitions,
course at the International Floral Design School Holland and many more helped me enrich my knowledge on the floristry field.
I have now worked as a florist for a few years and I knew one day I would open a shop of my own. I love to be quietly and discreetly
intertwined in people's lives and catch a glimpse of friendship, romance, birth and death. Be it a lavish bouquet or
a single stem of flower...flowers can, and do make a difference.
Tulips opened spring 2007 as a young, innovative, modern and vibrant florist shop in the centre of Hinckley Town.
